In the forest you will find peace of mind, at least I do. Walking around in the forest effects on mood, as the forest calms and speeds up recovery from stress. Studies show that staying in the woods lowers heart rate and blood pressure quickly, also muscle tension decreases.
I have felt myself more relaxed this year. The reason is Corona isolation in Lohja: I have spent nearly all my free time in the nature wondering around with my camera.

Some facts about Finnish forest: forests cover about 75% of Finland’s land area and we have around 30 different species growing in Finland. The most common trees are pine, spruce and birch.
